Produced by Dimensão Cultural in 1978, this is the earliest documented Brazilian Marvel sticker product. The set establishes Brazil as an active Marvel licensing market two years before the commonly cited 1980 Venezuelan set.

This 252-sticker set shares an identical numbered checklist with the 1980 Venezuela Reyauca Marvel Superheroes album. Same character roster, same two-panel split format, same numbering. The Brazilian edition predates the Venezuelan version by two years, making it the original release in this family.

Because this set predates the 1980 Venezuela album by two years, approximately 51 characters previously credited to the 1980 Venezuela set now have their True Rookie pushed back to 1978. This is one of the most significant dating discoveries in vintage Marvel card research.

Text throughout the album is in Portuguese, reflecting Brazil’s linguistic market. The character illustrations are identical to the Venezuelan Spanish-language edition, but captions and album text are in Portuguese.

The earliest documented licence date for this set is 1978, establishing it as the earliest Latin American Marvel sticker album — predating the Venezuelan and Argentine sets that were previously considered the first South American Marvel card products.

The connection between this Brazilian set and the 1980 Venezuelan album was confirmed through detailed checklist comparison — matching card numbers, two-panel split compositions, and character rosters. This is an active area of research with potential for further discoveries.
